The Spanish ViceRoyalty of New Spain for the era between 1786-1821 was vast.  This site intends to concentrate on areas of Northern Intendancies and Provincia's.  These area will include those areas that now border the United States.  There are many other sites that cover areas in the Guadalajara area and also many sites that cover the areas of Nuevo Leon and Coahuila. These sites will not be exclude, but rather will focus in the older Intendencies of Arizpe and Durango.
